Surface Finishing

Transform your parts with a spectrum of finishes for beauty, durability, and performance.

Anodizing

Clear Anodizing

Clear anodizing is used on most aluminum consumer products to prevent dulling from oxygen, moisture, and environmental exposure. It creates a glazed or faintly grainy finish, unlike the shine of bare polished aluminum.

Anodizing

Hard Anodizing

Hard anodizing improves wear and corrosion resistance, increases surface hardness, and enhances the thermal and dielectric properties of aluminum. Our standard oxide layers are 25–40 μm thick, but with Type III anodizing, they can reach up to 100 μm (0.004”).

Anodizing

Alodine & Chem film

Chromate conversion coating—also known as chem film or Alodine—is a chemical treatment that passivates aluminum to protect it from corrosion. We offer two types: Type I – Yellow finish, ranging from light yellow to brown. Type II – Transparent finish.

Anodizing

Black Oxide

Black oxide is a conversion coating used to enhance appearance, reduce light reflection, and provide mild corrosion resistance. It’s suitable for ferrous metals, zinc, copper and its alloys, silver solder, and powdered metals—especially where precision and tight tolerances are critical.

Anodizing

Sandblast Anodizing

Parts are bead blasted and then anodized. Ideal for increasing the corrosion resistance of the part, the adhesion between it and the coating, prolonging the durability of the coating.

Anodizing

Brushed Anodizing

Brushed anodized finishes resist scratching and require minimal maintenance, even in high-traffic areas. This aesthetic option is growing in popularity for aluminum products, offering excellent wear and abrasion resistance without compromising performance.

Anodizing

Color Anodizing

Color anodizing is popular for its ability to produce aluminum products in a wide range of colors—red, black, blue, green, gold, pink, purple, champagne, and even two-tone finishes. This visual enhancement makes products more appealing to customers.

Anodizing

Electroless nickel

Electroless nickel plating provides wear and abrasion protection, corrosion resistance, and increased hardness for parts in all conditions. It’s widely used in engineering, aerospace, oil and gas, construction, electronics, and more.

Anodizing

Electroplating

Electroplating coats an object with metal using electrodeposition, applying single or multiple metals. It works on many substrates, including metals and plastics. Common metals used are brass, chromium, copper, gold, nickel, silver, and zinc.

Anodizing

Electropolishing

Electropolishing is an electrochemical process that removes a thin layer of material from metal—typically stainless steel—leaving a smooth, shiny, and ultra-clean finish.

Anodizing

Passivation

Corrosion resistance is vital for metals used in applications where contamination can cause damage during production or use. Passivation is a non-electrolytic process that improves the corrosion and rust resistance of stainless steel parts after manufacturing.

Anodizing

Powder coating

Powder coating is a dry process that applies finely ground pigment to a surface. Once cured, it’s more durable and eco-friendly than paint, lasting 3 to 6 times longer. It resists corrosion, heat, impact, abrasion, sunlight, and weather, and comes in many finishes like gloss and metallic.
